Native American Day Celebration

Native American day celebrated in the honor of Native Americans on fourth Friday of September and second Monday of October of each year. In 1968, Native American day’s earlier name was American Indian day signed by Ronal Reagan. In 1998, California assembly passed it as state holiday named Native American Day. Since 1990 the second Monday in October has been celebrated as Native American Day in South Dakota,

Native American Day is around the corner, on 25 September of 2009 in California and 12 October of 2009 in South Dakota, it will be celebrated. Every citizen of America are took full enjoy of that holiday. There are so many events are organized by several councils and some of other organization. In California, it is so popular, in that day a free public celebration occurred featuring traditional Native American bird songs, music, art, and food.
